Expert Suggestions for You

To make your chimney services experience smoother, here are some helpful tips.

No Burning: We ask you not to burn for at least 24 hours before your appointment. If the fireplace is too hot for them to complete the work, another visit will be scheduled, and you will be charged $75.

Please have an area around the service area(s) free of debris and tripping hazards. If you have anything valuable on the hearth or mantle, please move it; accidents can occur even though our techs are very careful. If you are having your dryer vent cleaned, move all items off the top of the dryer.

Appointment Flexibility: Sweeps may arrive up to an hour before or after the scheduled time. Please be prepared to spend time discussing your chimney system with the techs.

Burning Habits: Burning the right type of wood will keep your chimney system cleaner and working better. Burning paper, cardboard, or other non-wood products in your fireplace is a fire hazard.

Book Early: · Schedule your inspection and sweep after you are done burning in the early spring through the end of July to beat the fall rush. Ask your tech about locking in this season's price.
