Expert Suggestions for You

To make your chimney services experience smoother, here are some helpful tips.

Book Early: · Schedule your inspection and sweep after you are done burning in the early spring through the end of July to beat the fall rush.

Appointment Flexibility: Sweeps may arrive up to an hour before or after the scheduled time. Please be prepared to spend time discussing your chimney system with the techs.

What We Ask of You: We ask you not to burn for at least 24 hours before your appointment. If the fireplace is too hot for them to complete the work, another visit will be scheduled.

We ask that you have an area around the service area(s) cleared for efficient and safe access. This could mean having all mementos off of the fireplace hearth, the top of the dryer cleared off, or a clear path to the utility (furnace flue.

Burning Habits: Burning the right type of wood will keep your chimney system cleaner and working better. Burning paper, cardboard, or other non-wood products in your fireplace is a fire hazard.
